FAQs

  • You can schedule through our online booking program here by selecting “Initial Exam”, or by calling the office during regular business hours at 405-450-4616.

  • First, you should receive our online intake forms via email shortly after booking your first visit. We kindly ask that you fill these out prior to your Initial Exam so we can direct all of our time towards your treatment.

Second, we share a suite with Griffith Chiropractic, which is the first left you can take when entering our building. Don’t worry- you’re in the right place!

Lastly, please wear something comfortable and non-restrictive. We pride ourselves in being MOVEMENT experts, whether that be with hands-on treatments or exercise- so we’ll need you to wear something you can move in.

  • First, we’ll talk through your intake paperwork with you so that we may better understand your case and establish your goals of care. We will then assess your presenting complaint by performing a movement assessment and any other exams (range of motion, neuro /ortho exams, posture and gait analysis, and more) we believe will further our diagnosis for you. Treatment will be performed the same day as the new patient exam pending no serious concerns. Treatment is completely individual to YOU, but normally includes a blend of chiropractic adjustments, muscle work, and corrective exercises.

Our goal is for you to leave your first visit with a better understanding of why you’re experiencing the issues you’re having and what steps it’s going to take to improve them. We believe in making you an active participant in your care, meaning you will leave with home exercises and lifestyle modification tools that equip you to manage symptoms in your time outside of the office. There’s no cookie-cutter chiropractic being practiced here : )

  • Every BODY and every case is different. There is no magic number for every person. A thorough evaluation during an Initial Exam is the best way to determine your frequency of care.

A common concern we hear from patients is that they’re hesitant to start chiropractic care because “once you start going, you have to go forever.” We get that your time with us is a small fraction of your everyday life. By educating you to be an active participant in your care, your home exercises and lifestyle modifications act to fill in the gaps between visits and assist you in self-managing your condition.

That being said, we value transparency in our office and believe if we aren’t the right provider for you, we can get you to someone within our Preferred Provider Network who is.

  • Motive is a cash-pay office, meaning we do not directly submit to insurance. This model allows us to structure treatments to best fit YOU, without having to worry about inconsistencies or limitations within different insurance plans/coverages that are often inflexible to our patients’ unique cases. We chose this model because we believe the provider you trust with your care should make decisions in your best interest, not insurance. Our cash rates are comparable, or sometimes even cheaper than insurance rates.

If you would still like to use your insurance, we’ve got you covered! We can provide you with a superbill. (“What’s a superbill?”, you ask. A superbill is basically a receipt for your insurance that provides them with codes of services we provided. It allows you to be reimbursed through your insurance directly, usually at a much quicker speed than going through us).

    We also accept HSA/FSA cards!

Ultimately, it’s important to us as practitioners to be able to practice the way we see fit for YOU while not being told how to practice by an insurance company. This will yield quicker results and not burn a hole through your pocket trying to get there.
