Motive uses a combination of evidence-based modalities, patient-centered chiropractic, and rehabilitative treatment to keep individuals moving well. A thorough case history is performed so we can get to know you and what drives you. Based on the patients’ history, a series of movement assessments are performed to identify the root cause of the issue. From there, treatment is tailored to best suit the needs and goals of the individual.

Our Approach

Treatments include chiropractic adjustments, functional rehabilitation, trigger point dry needling, and Graston/FAKTR to treat not only the joint, but the soft tissue musculature surrounding it. Motive’s chiropractic physician, Dr. Dacey, has extensive training in musculoskeletal health, human performance, pregnancy and pediatric care, as well as associated soft tissue modalities.

Motive’s mission is to bring an individualized approach to healthcare in a system that traditionally treats only symptoms.

We aim to provide patient-centered, whole-body care to educate and empower individuals with answers for their pain or dysfunction.

We believe to get to the root cause of pain, one must examine the entire system by listening, assessing, and applying professional knowledge to treat the entirety of the pain complex. We offer innovative care in a market saturated with “cookbook” treatment plans that fail to individualize treatment. Many individuals seeking answers for their pain and dysfunction are left unsatisfied as their condition never completely improves or returns time and time again with traditional chiropractic clinics. Motive is for patients seeking guidance on finding the root cause. Treatment is tailored to meet the specific needs of the individual, rather than treating just the site of pain.

Meet Your Chiro

Meet Dr. Dacey Hutcheson – chiropractic physician and owner of the Motive Muscle and Joint Clinic.

Dr. Dacey grew up in Shawnee, Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!). She continued her education at Cleveland University – Kansas City where she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic. Growing up playing sports introduced her to movement and performance, and she soon grew an interest for chiropractic through a sports injury while playing volleyball. She went to chiropractic school to learn how to give adjustments, and came out of it with a passion for the great potential chiropractors have – they can be your chiropractor, physiotherapist, and personal trainer all in one. She believes movement truly is medicine, especially when performed with function and purpose. Dr. Dacey is passionate about educating, empowering, and advocating for her patients at every stage of life – whether that be first steps, new mamas, high-level athletes, or weekend warriors.

She has continuing education in dry needling, McKenzie MDT, SFMA/FMS, FAKTR, Webster Technique, Spinning Babies, and more! She is a Webster-Certified Chiropractor through the ICPA.
