At Motive, we provide hands-on therapies and corrective exercises to get you moving better and keep you moving better. Our techniques are evidence-based and shown to be some of the safest and most effective ways to decrease pain.
-
Chiropractic Adjustments
Chiropractic adjustments involve restoring proper movement to a motion segment (joint) by addressing segments that are restricted. Oftentimes, pain and discomfort may be stemming from these fixations. Through a quick and gentle force, a chiropractic adjustment can restore proper motion to the joint.
-
Cupping
Cupping uses suction to lift the skin, tissue, and muscles upward to encourage proper blood flow and relieve pain and tension. The purpose of the suction is to encourage proper blood flow, relieve pain, remove stagnation, and pull out toxins that can linger in the body’s tissues.
-
Dry Needling
Using a thin needle, dry needling targets areas of tension (trigger points) in the body to help modulate pain, decrease the feeling of tension, and increase blood flow through micro trauma. Additionally, needling provides input to the brain for opportunity to re-educate the kinetic chain through proper rehabilitative exercises.
-
Scraping
Graston (also commonly referred to as muscle “scraping”) involves the utilization of small metal instruments that detect and treat areas of soft-tissue adhesions and/or chronic inflammation by increasing blood flow, reducing fascial restrictions, and when used in combination with rehabilitative exercise - helping to restore proper movement.
-
Functional Rehabilitation
Our goal is to get you back to the activities you love by pairing hands-on treatment with individualized exercises. We aim to give you many tools, then help you put them all together to ensure that you can return to whatever activity it is that you love, prevent future injuries, and perform even better than before.

We utilize manual therapy, adjustments, and exercise to help keep your core and pelvic floor engaged to ensure a more functional pregnancy and life beyond pregnancy.
